We posted a few days ago about the much-awaited (at least by us) opening of Modo Gatto, a designer men's denim boutique just around the corner from us in the North End. We incorrectly asserted that the owner of Injeanius (Alison Barnard), a women's jeans shop across the street, was also the owner of the new place.

We were wrong. Modo Gatto is in fact owned by Kristen Massaro, who while being a friend of Barnard, is in fact a totally separate person.

Confusion notwithstanding, Arianna and I did a little shopping at both places yesterday and we're happy to report that they are everything we hoped for and highly recommendable. Our only concern is that with these places quite literally around the corner from us, we will end up spending all of our money there. Oh, the woes of metrosexuality!
