MA House Debates Immorality

If you've been following the "Slot Machines" bill currently working its way through the Bay State legislature, you already know what sort of godless debauchery this affront to our puritan values it is. The bill will be debated today in the House of Representatives:

If approved, Massachusetts would join eleven other states that allow slots at horse or dog tracks.
The bill would allow for 8,000 slot machines in the state's four racetracks. Supporters say this would generate about $350 million in state revenue.

Not only should our lawmakers be thinking of the poor greyhounds whose ability to find gainful employment in our state would be greatly impaired by this bill, but also of our souls: gambling is sin. Especially gambling with tacky slots.
