More of ‘Opal Mehta’ is Found to be Plagiarized
Fresh off the discovery that she lifted passages from Megan McCafferty novels (Sloppy Seconds or something), Harvard sophmore Kaavya Viswanathan is hit with even more plagiarism charges, the Globe reports. It seems the sticky-fingered, overpaid over-achiever stole other sections of her book How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life, from yet another author. This time it was the novel Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella.
My, my, my. What a tangled web we weave when we're money-grubbing cheats, huh?
