By now you've all heard about Herald owner Pat Purcell's move to dump what is traditionally the most lucrative type of newspaper property (the local papers) in a sale to Liberty Group Publishing. The really fun story out of Dead Trees Land is that the Globe's circulation numbers have dipped below 400,000 (sending out subscriber credit card information couldn't have been good for that).
